S everal of my travels took me to India. The first two journeys each lasted two months. India is unique! All that you ever hear about it is that it’s loud, crowded and dirty – but it is also spiritual, beautiful and inspiring.

Someone once returned my publication "INDIA" to me with the comment that the country is nothing like my pictures suggest. He probably only knew the bright and chaotic side of India. 

​

Yes, certainly, India can be exhausting. Often I wonder what keeps drawing me back. But with India if you get up early enough in the morning or hop on a bus and seek out more remote places, you get rewarded with the magic side of this uniquely diverse country.

​

I love India for all its up and down sides, but what inspires me most is the beautiful nature and the heritage one can find – often in the most unlikely places.
